Val Hoyle for Oregon Labor Commissioner

Val Hoyle would be a terrific Commissioner of Oregon's Bureau of Labor and Industries. That's why I urge you to vote for Val on May 15 for this nonpartisan position.

Val understands the challenges facing Oregon workers and businesses. She's run a small business, been a union member, and served in the Oregon Legislature. She will stand up for Oregon workers and employers, and help build the workforce Oregon needs in our changing economy.

When Val sees a problem, she sets about solving it. I had the pleasure of watching Val go to bat for working Oregonians when she led the fight for paid sick leave and when she advocated for a minimum wage increase.

The Attorney General's office works closely with the Labor Commissioner in enforcing state laws related to employment, housing, and public accommodation. I know that Val and I will work well together on behalf of Oregon's working people and businesses.

Your vote for Val Hoyle is a vote for fairness, hard work, and giving everyone – labor and business – a seat at the table.
