We must keep going.

This was a year of progress – and challenges – for sure!

As Oregon's attorney general, I'm proud of the work we did for the people of Oregon.

We have taken on the Trump administration when it comes to reforming gun violence laws, ending family separation at our borders, addressing hate crimes in our communities, and demanding Republicans not rig the census with discriminatory questions.

We took on the excesses of big pharma and big polluters because protecting the health and safety of our families is my top priority as Attorney General.

We campaigned hard across America, electing a blue wave of Democratic Attorneys General, re-electing Governor Kate Brown, and taking back the House.

Remain vigilant. The challenges ahead are significant.

Despite working with Democratic Attorneys General to protect the Affordable Care Act in our courts, a recent ruling out of Texas threatens to overturn the ACA. This sets up yet another Supreme Court battle. Access to health care for millions of Americans hangs in balance.

Despite public outcry and court rulings, children are still being locked up indefinitely at the Texas border.

Roe v. Wade is in even more serious jeopardy. And, this federal administration doesn't even believe in birth control for all who want it!

What's next? We must keep going.

One message from 2018 is crystal clear: the American people are demanding a check on Donald Trump. And they know Democratic Attorneys General are on the front lines enforcing the rule of law and the Constitution.

I'm grateful to have had your support in so many critical fights. I look forward to taking on more with you in the coming year.
